Backseat Pilots first ever EP "When Lights Go Out" was created with over 500 hours of meticulous back breaking hours of self production and trial and error. Without any background knowledge or classes taken, Josh Recinos spearheaded the project using Sonar Software and with the guidance of blogs on the internet posted by modern music producers. Since the addition of percussionist Michael Pattico, the band has set new goals to create an album which would combine the essence of electronic atmosphere with big beat drums and plenty of guitars. With busy lives and careers on the side, they have sworn to take this project to places never imagined.
Jason Recinos, lead singer states, "The awesome reality here is that this band feels complete to me with a drummer like Michael Pattico and there are now 4 dedicated people who all feel the potential and creativity burning and begging to be unleashed."
